All About the Internet
We will navigate to fun sites; see how to use all of the media available. We will explore together - find out how to use fun sites, use different search engines, and more! FUN!!
Bring your camera and learn how to download pictures, save them, and e-mail them to your friends and family. We will also use Windows Movie Maker to create a movie from your pictures. You can e-mail or burn your movie onto a CD. You are creative -- you just do not know how creative you are.
How does eBay work? We look at one of the internet's hottest spots!! We will start with the basics and become an educated eBay buyer and seller!
* 1st class - eBay overview & researching our items as a buyer and seller.
* 2nd class - Bring your item, digital camera and patch cord – we stage the item and download and post the item for sale.
* 3rd class – We check the status of our product, how to close the sale, check our back office or “my eBay” and close the transaction.
NOTE: Prior Knowledge of e-mail and computer basics needed. Must know how to use e-mail and a mouse. We can teach you the rest!
Get acquainted with the most useful applications in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Power Point. We visit a new application each week.
